Beginning on the evening of Aprile 12, 1972, and during the months that followed, a group of Bellingham area fly fishers gathered to organize a fly fishing club in the "fourth corner of this nation that share a common interests in the sport of fly fishing, conservation of our fishery resources and the natural environmental habitats, promotion of conservation ethics to protect child fish and the habitat which sustains them, preservation of angling waters, improve the state-of-art of fly fishing, keep members informed of developments of interest and to carry out programs of education designed to encourage others to become fly fishers.

4th Corner Fly Fishers is a Bellingham, Washington, fly-fishing club founded in 1972 by local anglers. For more than 50 years, it has brought together people who want to connect, learn, share and fish. The club’s purpose combines recreation and fellowship with a commitment to protecting wild fish, the habitats that sustain them, angling waters and surrounding lands.
