500RPM is a non-profit organization dedicated to the transfer of technology for the most widely used self-built wind turbine in the world, the Piggott design. Since 2010, we have been promoting the dissemination of this technology and sustainable rural electrification in Argentina and the region. We also incorporate other renewable energies and develop our own open-source patented technologies to achieve a comprehensive approach.

Working with educational institutions, NGOs, companies, and governments, we aim to enhance our impact and provide a collaborative and multidisciplinary response to the challenges of global sustainable development. Our mission is to make low-power renewable energies mass-scale, accessible, and local technologies for rural electrification. Our vision is a world with free technological knowledge focused on local human development and global sustainability.
