56 Music Fix is a free, village-wide summer festival celebrating live music and local businesses in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Presented by the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association, the event brings regional bands of varied sizes and genres to bars, restaurants, and shops throughout the community for three days. The 2027 festival is scheduled for August 20, 21, and 22, offering visitors a chance to explore local venues and enjoy performances across town over one weekend.
Organizers report that a recent festival welcomed a record 100 bands. The event also promotes local artists and has featured an Artisan Fix, though that component is currently on hold while Lions Park is under construction. Visitors can find festival schedules, band and venue information, and updates through the event’s website and social media channels.
Official 56 Music Fix T-shirts are also planned for sale around town during the summer. With free admission and performances hosted by neighborhood businesses, 56 Music Fix connects live entertainment with the Mount Prospect community
