5 Magazine is an electronic music publication and platform based in Chicago, founded in 2005 by Czarina Mirani. Covering house music, techno, disco, garage, and underground electronic music, 5 Magazine has released nearly 200 issues over the past sixteen years. Initially distributed in print across Chicago, 5 Magazine transitioned to a digital-only format in 2016 to reach a global audience through PDF publications for subscribers.

As a woman-owned business, 5 Mag is dedicated to diversity, reflecting the inclusive nature of the electronic music scene. Acknowledging the Black and LGBTQ+ roots of house music, 5 Magazine aims to provide a platform that celebrates the community that creates, plays, and dances to this music.
