662 JiuJitsu

662 JiuJitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Oxford, Mississippi, offering training for children, teens, and adults. Founded in 2018 by owner and head instructor Michael LaBorde, the academy emphasizes practical skills, confidence, discipline, fitness, and a welcoming training culture. Its programs include Gi Jiu-Jitsu, where students learn grappling, takedowns, positional control, and submissions using leverage, and No-Gi Grappling, which blends Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling for faster-paced sport and real-world training.

For younger students, Tiny Ninjas serves ages 4–7 with game-based activities that develop coordination, listening, and body awareness. Youth Jiu-Jitsu, for ages 8–12, introduces more technical training and ways to control larger opponents without relying on striking or aggression. The coaching team includes experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors and competitors, with backgrounds spanning martial arts, education, counseling, and athletic coaching.

662 JiuJitsu also provides a class schedule, gear and gifts, and a free trial for people interested in starting. Its programs welcome beginners and experienced grapplers seeking instruction, self-defense skills, or competition preparation
