About 6G-NTN
6G-NTN is a brand that focuses on the development and integration of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) into the future 6G system. NTN is designed to complement the current Terrestrial Network (TN) and enhance the next generation of mobile networks and services. This integration will greatly improve connectivity for users in unserved and underserved areas, benefitting both consumers and industries.
As a 6G SNS-funded project, 6G-NTN aims to design and validate the key technical, regulatory, and standardisation enablers for the integration of TN and NTN components into 6G. The brand is specifically focused on multidimensional network infrastructure, multi-constraint RANs, and multi-user terminals. 6G-NTN serves various markets including media and entertainment, telecom, public safety, drones, defense, aeronautics, automotive, maritime, railway, and utilities.
