6G-XCEL is a visionary project aiming to revolutionize AI in 6G networks by implementing the DMMAI framework. This initiative brings together a diverse ecosystem of researchers from the EU and US to validate, adopt, and standardize AI approaches. The DMMAI framework enables decentralized multi-party, multi-network AI, fostering advanced network controls, security, and sustainability.

The project focuses on research for developing reference use cases, data acquisition methods, repositories, training data, and benchmarking platforms for future AI/ML solutions in 6G networks. With testbeds in both the EU and US, including OpenIreland and CCI xG, 6G-XCEL explores cutting-edge applications like AI-enhanced resource management and dynamic spectrum management.
