7-Star Phoenix Shao-lin Kung Fu is a traditional martial arts school in Colorado Springs, Colorado, offering training rooted in Shao-lin practice and a lineage connected to the Southern temple in Fukien. Formerly known as the Chinese Shao-lin Center, the school has served the community for more than 30 years. Owner and head instructor Master Tanisha Martin has trained for over 29 years and holds the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt Master.
The school offers Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes, with instruction spanning external styles such as Tiger, Crane, Mantis, and Drunken, as well as internal practices including Pa Kua, Hsing I, and chi kung. The approach emphasizes developing fitness, focus, awareness, confidence, and balance in a supportive, self-paced environment.
7-Star Phoenix also provides inner transformation coaching and partners with local nonprofit organizations to offer classes and community events.
