8bit Bosses Studios

8bit Bosses Studios is a video game and interactive media development studio based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The team brings expertise across its areas of work and creates games, apps, and other digital projects for partners, with a focus on high-quality, engaging experiences. Its work includes Reef Escape, an underwater platforming adventure featuring precise movement, timed challenges, and hints that help players progress through its levels.

The studio also developed Puerto Rico No Está Apaga’o!, an infinite runner about rebuilding after Hurricane María. Earnings from the game went toward the nonprofit Movement: Puerto Rico No Está Apaga’o, led by local entrepreneurs. Another project, Changuy The Game, is being developed in partnership with Dave Alvarez Studios.

8bit Bosses describes itself as helping advance Puerto Rico’s video game industry and is working on future projects. In addition to its own games, the studio invites partners to collaborate on custom games, apps, and other digital experiences. It provides contact channels for general inquiries, support, press and media, and careers
