**Brand Description: GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles**

GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles (GRID GLA) is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to providing solar energy solutions and job training to underserved communities in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. Since its inception in 2007, GRID GLA has empowered over 3,000 households to harness solar energy, significantly reducing their energy costs while fostering a greener ecosystem. The organization specializes in installing solar electric systems for low-income families, coupled with comprehensive training programs that equip local workers with skills for the green technology sector.

In addition to residential solar installations, GRID GLA collaborates with various partners on large-scale projects, such as the recent solar system installed at the Tzu Chi Wilmington Health Center, which enhances community resilience. With initiatives like the Behind the Walls program, GRID GLA also provides valuable job training for formerly incarcerated women. Through its commitment to climate justice and community engagement, GRID Alternatives is making substantial strides toward a sustainable future. Join GRID GLA in the clean energy transition by volunteering, becoming a client, or supporting the mission through donations.
