8 SENSES LEARNING

8 Senses Learning is a child-focused behavioural and learning consultancy led by Anne, a university-trained teacher with 30 years of experience in schools and early childhood settings. The practice supports preschool and primary-aged children, and older learners, with particular understanding of autism, ADD/ADHD, sensory needs and emotional regulation. Its approach values neurodiversity and recognises how the eight senses—including proprioception, vestibular processing and interoception—can influence a child’s comfort, engagement and learning.

Services include in-home and online consultations, learning sessions for children, parent guidance, and short- or long-term action plans. Support is tailored to each family and may focus on confidence, communication, emotional and sensory regulation, attention, school readiness, independent work habits, homework, and academic skills such as reading, writing, handwriting and mathematics. Anne also helps parents interpret school and therapist reports, apply recommendations, and create practical strategies for everyday use at home and in other settings.
