8thereal was founded in 2022 by Carines Komninos, a Certified Skincare Coach and Certified Makeup Artist, with a simple belief: beauty shouldn't become more complicated as we get older.

As our skin changes, so do our needs. Products and makeup techniques that worked for years may suddenly feel different, and the beauty industry can make the answer seem like adding more products, more steps, and more ways to fight aging.

8thereal takes a different approach.

With our philosophy, Beauty After 40, Simplified, we focus on helping women understand what their skin needs, build simpler routines, and use skincare and makeup to enhance their natural beauty rather than chase a younger version of themselves.

Our collection includes vegan and cruelty-free skincare and makeup designed to fit into real routines and support the changing needs of women 40+. We believe effective beauty doesn't require twelve steps or an overflowing bathroom counter. Sometimes knowing what your skin needs, and what it doesn't, is the most important part.

Sustainability is also part of how we approach beauty. We use recyclable packaging and plant a tree for every item purchased.
