99 Crib

99 Crib is a Nigerian student accommodation platform that helps students find housing near their university with greater confidence and financial protection. Serving universities across the country, it offers verified listings for options including single rooms, shared rooms, self-contained units, studios, mini flats, and larger apartments. Before a property is published, 99 Crib’s field team visits to confirm its location, condition, safety, and consistency with the listing’s photos and description. Students can compare property details and view video reels before arranging a visit, and the platform also offers roommate matching to help students share housing costs.

Payments are held in escrow through a licensed payment partner and released to the landlord only after move-in is confirmed, protecting students from paying for unsuitable or nonexistent accommodation. Users can save toward rent in an in-app wallet, communicate with landlords and support through in-app chat, and access guidance throughout the rental process. 99 Crib also serves landlords, providing a platform to list verified properties and connect with prospective student tenants.
