9-Lives Cat

9-Lives Cat Rescue Society is a cat rescue organization based in Falmouth, Nova Scotia, serving Hants County, Kings County, and surrounding areas. Its work focuses on improving the welfare of unwanted, abandoned, and feral cats through direct care and community involvement. The society provides spaying and neutering, veterinary care, medical treatment, and foster homes for cats in need.

For feral cats, the organization operates a Trap-Neuter-Release program: cats are safely trapped, sterilized, and returned to their colonies. Abandoned cats and kittens can receive foster care until they are ready for adoption. When cats or kittens are available, 9-Lives works to match them with forever homes, and prospective adopters can submit an adoption application.

The society invites community members to support its efforts by donating, volunteering, or becoming foster caregivers. Through rescue, treatment, fostering, and adoption, 9-Lives Cat Rescue Society aims to reduce the cat population and improve cats’ quality of life.
