A-BIB* is Vienna’s Anarchist Library and Archive, a community-focused cultural and research space dedicated to preserving and sharing anarchist history, ideas, and publications. Its collections include books, brochures, periodicals, archives, images, and audio materials, with a particular interest in anarchism in Austria and the lives and work of activists and writers. Visitors can explore the library catalogue, consult digitised books and journals, and learn about access, borrowing, opening hours, and use of the reading room.

Alongside its library services, A-BIB organises public programmes that bring historical and contemporary themes to life. These include readings, book presentations, exhibitions, discussions, and film screenings, as well as projects focused on digitisation, cataloguing, and preserving printed materials. The organisation also shares research through reference resources such as its lexicon and map, and collaborates with related initiatives and archives. A-BIB welcomes support and participation, including donations, cooperation, and practical contributions. Through its collections, events, and community connections, it offers a meeting place for people interested in anarchist history, culture, and thought.
