A C Stable

A&C Stable is a horse business owned and operated by Aaron and Charity Donnan, who have been involved in the industry since 1992. Based in York, New York, the stable began by developing foxhunters and timber-racing horses and has since expanded its focus to high-quality eventing and show horses, alongside foxhunters. Its aim is to produce Thoroughbreds that are sound, intelligent, and experienced across a range of disciplines.

The stable carefully selects large, conformationally correct Thoroughbred colts and geldings. Horses are sourced primarily through yearling sales, including Fasig-Tipton and OBS, as well as private purchases from breeding farms and breeder-owners. Aaron and Charity grew up riding with the Genesee Valley Pony Club and hunting with the Genesee Valley Hunt. Both competed through Preliminary Level and timber-raced as amateur jockeys. After starting a family in the mid-1990s, they shifted their competitive focus toward flat racing, particularly at Finger Lakes Race Track, and developing race and sales prospects.
