About A4ID
A4ID is a global charity that partners with leading law firms to provide access to top-notch legal advice in the fight against global poverty. Inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, A4ID's vision is to have the law and lawyers actively contribute to eradicating poverty. They work as facilitators, matching international legal expertise with local needs in over 100 jurisdictions around the world.
A lack of legal expertise can hinder the impact of local development organizations, so A4ID connects legal partners with development partners to provide pro bono legal advice where it is needed most. They also offer training programs and engage in research and policy work related to business and human rights and sustainable development.
