AAA 1-B is a nonprofit organization established in 1974, dedicated to supporting seniors, people with disabilities, and family caregivers in southeast Michigan. As part of a national network of Area Agencies on Aging, AAA 1-B is a prominent leader in aging services in a six-county region, including Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Washtenaw counties.

Their mission is to help individuals maintain independent and dignified lives in their own homes or with the assistance of family caregivers. AAA 1-B offers a wide range of services and programs to meet the unique needs of seniors and their caregivers. These include government programs for the elderly, home care assistance, Meals on Wheels, and more.
