Area 56 General Service serves Alcoholics Anonymous groups and members across Southwest Ohio, connecting local AA activity with the wider fellowship and community. Its website provides information about the area’s structure, mission, districts, boundaries, trusted servants, standing committees, and general service. Members can consult an interactive area map, view reference materials about AA service, and learn about group conscience, fiscal policy, and participation in service work.

The site also helps people find local AA meetings, including options near Cincinnati and Dayton, clubs, and special-need or special-interest meetings. It links visitors to local contact information and the Meeting Guide app, which can be used to find meetings. Area 56 shares announcements, delegate updates, news, and an events calendar featuring group, district, intergroup, and area gatherings. For members and groups wishing to support its work, the site offers electronic contribution options. Volunteer opportunities are also promoted, including support for the 2027 Mini-Conference. Together, these resources help members stay informed, participate in AA service, and connect with local support.
