Area Agency on Aging Region X is a nonprofit, charitable organization serving older adults in Barton, Jasper, Newton, and McDonald counties in Missouri. Established in 1979 following a designation under the Older Americans Act, the agency works to help older people maintain independence and dignity. Its services are available to residents aged 60 and older in the region, with priority given to people facing the greatest economic or social needs.
