Switch For Life

AACSoft develops assistive technology designed to make communication and everyday control more accessible for people with cognitive disabilities. Its featured product, SwitchForLife, is a versatile app and system that brings communication tools and environmental controls together, helping users interact with others and manage aspects of their surroundings. It is designed for people with a range of support needs, from minor to severe disabilities, and can adapt as users’ abilities and requirements change.

SwitchForLife can be used with switches or touch on an iPad or iPhone. Its features include smart home control, visual scenes, an On-the-Go Mode, switch-adapted toy control, and the ability to import established systems. The platform can support activities such as communicating, playing music, and controlling lights and fans. AACSoft presents SwitchForLife as a practical alternative to relying on multiple complex devices, with the aim of making assistive technology easier to use in everyday settings. The website also provides access to product information, training, and a shop.
