Aadane Centre

Aadane Center, also known as Aadane Research Center, is an independent nonprofit organization based in Mogadishu, Somalia. It focuses on research, human development and dialogue, with the broader aim of supporting human well-being, social and economic progress, and peace in Somalia. Its mission is to encourage inclusive development programs grounded in facts and evidence, and strengthened through dialogue and relationships. The center’s vision is to advance human development through education, practical use of evidence, partnerships and constructive engagement.

Aadane’s work brings together research, community dialogue and development initiatives. Its research activities investigate issues affecting Somali communities to establish facts, generate knowledge and identify practical solutions. Through dialogue, the organization seeks to build sustainable relationships, clarify shared and differing perspectives, and bridge divisions within communities. Its human development work aims to improve lives through knowledge, training, opportunity creation, consulting and the development of new ideas for healthy, creative living.
