Based in Germany, the association offers a variety of services and information to its members, including resources for alpaca husbandry, feeding, and veterinary care. The AAeV serves as a platform for knowledge sharing through online seminars and practical workshops, particularly on fiber preparation and alpaca care.
The association hosts several notable events, such as the National Alpaca Show and the International Fiber Show, allowing members to showcase their alpacas and connect with other breeders. Upcoming events, including the AAeV Alpaca Show in Leipzig and the 2026 Fiber Show in Witterda, are highly anticipated.
