AA Firearm Training

AA Firearm Training is a firearm education provider based in Alden, Illinois, offering instruction focused on safe, responsible firearm handling. Led by Mary, an NRA-certified instructor in Basic Pistol, Conceal and Carry, and Chief Range Safety Officer training, the organization emphasizes safety as its priority. Classes combine presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and student participation, with practical range instruction available using students’ firearms or rented options. Training takes place in a controlled environment, and instructors teach safe handling procedures without live ammunition during demonstrations.

Programs include Basic Pistol Shooting, covering firearm fundamentals, cleaning, grip, stance, and aiming; and Illinois Conceal and Carry instruction, which includes 16 hours of classroom learning and a shooting qualification to meet application requirements. AA Firearm Training also provides one-on-one and small-group lessons, firearm safety classes for children, and women-led, women-only sessions. Students can learn about firearm recognition, safe responses if a gun is found, and the importance of adult supervision. Range Safety Officer training prepares participants for range-safety responsibilities.
