About AAIPCA
The Associação Académica do Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave (AAIPCA) serves as the student representative body for all learners at the Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave (IPCA). Being the newest higher education student association in Portugal, AAIPCA is dedicated to enhancing the academic and social experience of its members.
AAIPCA offers a wide range of products and services aimed at promoting student engagement, wellness, and community. This includes organizing events like the Queima do Galo and various sports activities, such as the National University Championships in canoeing and karate. Additionally, AAIPCA provides support resources, such as welfare initiatives and recreational programs, including the exciting “IPCAliza-te” welcome event for new students.
