The Association for Advancement of Mental Health (AAMH) is a behavioral health nonprofit based in Princeton, New Jersey, serving the greater Mercer County community. In November 2025, AAMH merged with Oaks Integrated Care, bringing together two mission-driven organizations focused on compassionate, high-quality support for children, adults, and families. AAMH offers services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, tailored to clients’ needs and goals, including greater independence, returning to work, and managing everyday challenges.
Its programs include Partial Care, a wellness-based day-treatment service integrating mental health and substance-use care through individualized recovery planning. Child and adult outpatient services provide confidential counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric assessments, and medication management. AAMH’s Behavioral Health Home coordinates primary and behavioral health care, treatment follow-through, care management, wellness groups, and access to an on-site primary care provider and fitness equipment. Services are available at its Princeton location, with appointments arranged through Oaks’ Access Center. AAMH accepts Medicaid for outpatient and Behavioral Health Home programs, and Medicaid and Medicare for Partial Care.
