The Association d’Aéromodélisme (AAM) brings together model aviation clubs in Belgium’s French-speaking Wallonia-Brussels Federation and German-speaking Community. It works to unite and support member clubs, promote aeromodelling in Belgium and abroad, defend members’ interests, and represent them before public authorities. The association also represents Belgian francophone and Germanophone aeromodelling in European and world championships organised by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

AAM supports pilots through guidance on required qualifications, including A and B certificates and demonstration certification, and provides information on safety, regulations, insurance, administration, subsidies, and club management. Its community spans disciplines such as gliders, helicopters, jets, and drones, with an emphasis on safe flying and consideration for the environment and neighbours.

The association publicises club meetings, competitions, demonstrations, open days, training sessions, and other activities through its events calendar and news updates. It also shares practical advice, regulatory information, and publications, including a monthly newsletter and the quarterly AAModels-info magazine.
