Calumet Area Intergroup serves as the central service hub for Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) in the Calumet Area, fostering partnerships among local A.A. groups to support individuals in their recovery journeys. The organization is composed of representatives from various A.A. groups, which work collaboratively to ensure the availability of vital services. The Central Service Office, open Monday through Saturday, responds to inquiries, coordinates 12-step calls, and provides information about local meetings, hospitals, and treatment facilities.

In addition, Calumet Area Intergroup organizes community outreach efforts, distributes A.A. literature, and publishes a newsletter featuring local events. They aim to promote understanding of A.A.'s principles and offer resources and support not just to those struggling with alcoholism but also to their families and friends. For anyone needing help or more information, the office can be reached at (219) 844-6695, ensuring assistance is accessible whenever needed.
