AAOHN

The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) is a professional association serving occupational health nurses and supporting the practice of workplace health and safety. It connects members through a nationwide network of state and regional chapters, providing opportunities to share experience, build professional relationships, and access peer support. Membership offerings include corporate membership, member discounts, professional liability resources, awards and recognition, and the AAOHN Fellows community.

AAOHN provides education and career development through online courses, recorded webinars, certification preparation, facility-hosted COHN and COHN-S courses, and a product library. Its resources address occupational health practice and workplace concerns, including infection prevention, workplace flu, workplace violence, and safe workplaces. Members can also access the Workplace Health and Safety Journal, continuing nursing education modules, position statements, legislative affairs information, salary survey resources, and a career center.

The association organizes events, including a national conference, occupational health nurse week activities, and certification workshops. Through the AAOHN Foundation, it supports grants, scholarships, and leadership initiatives. AAOHN also offers mentorship opportunities for occupational health professionals.
