About Australian Association for Research in Education
AARE is a national professional association of educational researchers in Australia. Established in 1970, AARE has been providing support for educational researchers across various sectors, including universities, governments, early childhood education contexts, and research agencies. Their main objectives are centered around advancing scholarly inquiry into education, promoting the positive impact of educational research on policy and practice, and enhancing the quality of educational research.
AARE offers a range of core activities to fulfill its purpose, including the Australian Educational Researcher journal, the EduResearch Matters blog, the Local/Global Issues in Education book series, and an annual international conference held in different locations each year. AARE also conducts research development workshops, recognizes outstanding researchers with awards, supports Special Interest Groups (SIGs), advocates for enhanced funding, and provides member updates with information on activities and issues. To learn more about AARE and their work, visit their website and watch their informative videos.
Join AARE to be a part of the community of educational researchers and contribute to the enhancement of educational processes, policy, and practice
