Aarhus Karateklub

Aarhus Karateklub is a karate club affiliated with the International Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation (IOGKF). Based in Aarhus, Denmark, the club teaches Goju-Ryu, a traditional karate style originating in Okinawa. Its training combines practical unarmed self-defence with the wider practice of martial arts, supporting physical strength, flexibility, discipline and mental focus.

The club welcomes children and adults, with training opportunities for different ages and experience levels. Sessions are organised around individual practice within a group setting, and the club highlights the value of strong camaraderie among its members. Its website also introduces Goju-Ryu’s origins, development, techniques and philosophy, helping visitors learn more about the style as well as the training itself.

People interested in joining can find practical information about training times, directions and membership, or contact the club with questions. Aarhus Karateklub invites prospective members to arrange a free trial session. New adults who join after trying a class receive a free karate uniform.
