About آسو
Asu is an innovative platform established with the aim of promoting research and dialogue through the dissemination of a diverse array of works, including publications, translations, multimedia productions, and films. The name 'Asu,' derived from Kurdish, signifies 'horizon,' reflecting the organization’s aspiration to broaden perspectives in human relations and foster a culture of tolerance amid prevailing hostility towards minorities and dissenters in Iran.
Affiliated with the Taslimi Foundation, a nonprofit entity dedicated to various social, cultural, educational, and environmental initiatives, Asu aims to create an inclusive forum where a multitude of viewpoints can thrive. The Taslimi Foundation honors the legacy of Abdolhossein Taslimi and his colleagues, who were integral to the Bahá'í community in Iran before their imprisonment in 1979. Asu endeavors to replace violence with dialogue, establishing a respectful space for engagement and understanding across different communities, while making its published content freely shareable with appropriate citations.
