The Austrian Automotive Transformation Platform (AATP) is a collaborative initiative aimed at leveraging the massive structural transformation in the automotive and supplier industry in Austria. With the decarbonization of the sector, there is a need for skilled professionals in the field of electrical engineering to establish the necessary electrification infrastructure. The primary goal of AATP is to harness the opportunities presented by this transformation for climate protection and to create additional employment and value.

The platform consists of an expert circle comprising members from the vehicle and supplier industry, charging infrastructure industry, service sector, as well as clusters, interest representatives, research, and administration. These members bring their expertise in the potential growth avenues and challenges of the structural transformation, the possible lines of technological change, and the areas of action to ensure Austria's competitiveness in the vehicle supplier industry. AATP will develop a catalog of measures with recommendations to actively support the transformation in the mobility industry.

The platform also organizes annual conferences to discuss the progress and strategic recommendations. Additionally, AATP aims to maintain and create jobs in the automotive industry and its related sectors, promote additional employment and value creation, and contribute to climate protection.
