About AAU Racing
AAU Racing is a dynamic racing team based at Aalborg University, where students collaborate across diverse fields to design and construct cutting-edge racing cars. Engaging in international Formula Student competitions organized by SAE International, the team showcases their engineering prowess on renowned tracks like Silverstone and Hockenheim. With up to 150 universities worldwide competing, AAU Racing focuses on creating the ultimate race car by integrating design, economics, project management, and performance elements.
The team's innovative approach emphasizes hands-on learning, with students actively involved in the manufacturing process and leveraging their expertise in electronics, software, mechanics, and business economics. Beyond technical skills, the project cultivates teamwork and project management experience. AAU Racing also participates in public events to promote STEM education and engages with sponsors to enhance their presence.
