About AAVANT
Aavant is a global manufacturer of professional backdrops, with nearly 30 years of experience serving photography studios, theatre productions, event companies and production houses. Combining traditional fine-art craftsmanship with technical expertise, the company creates backdrops designed to shape light, add visual depth and bring creative concepts to life. Its photography collection includes solid-colour, hand-painted, hand-dyed and mottled muslin, and collapsible options.
Aavant also produces theatre backdrops for plays, musicals and ballet, as well as large-scale event environments and product-photography surfaces. For bespoke projects, its in-house designers, photographers and artisans work with clients from initial concept and design consultation through production, quality inspection and delivery. Aavant reports ISO 9001:2015 certification, uses environmentally responsible paints and dyes, and supplies wholesale customers and production houses worldwide.
Headquartered in New Delhi, it also operates offices, warehouses and workshops in several Indian locations, including Kolkata, Noida, Greater Noida, Kalyani and Bengaluru. Its services support projects ranging from studio shoots to expansive stage and event installations
