Abam

ABAM ETS is a nonprofit organization based in Vicenza, Italy, dedicated to helping children with congenital malformations. Founded in 1979, it has spent more than 45 years raising donations to support young patients, their families and healthcare facilities across the province of Vicenza. Working in coordination with local medical institutions, ABAM focuses on practical projects that can be delivered promptly and whose results can be clearly seen.

Donations help families with limited means, provide or complete essential medical equipment, and support healthcare professionals involved in humanitarian interventions for children. The organization also backs projects that improve children’s hospital experiences, including a new playground at San Bortolo Hospital and virtual-reality headsets. ABAM emphasizes transparency and careful stewardship, making information about its work and outcomes available to donors and supporters.

Alongside donation campaigns, ABAM organizes charitable events and fundraising initiatives. These include its annual benefit evening and the Panettone per i bambini di ABAM, a festive fundraising product made by pastry chef Luigi Biasetto.
