The Asociación Vecinal Uribitarte Anaitasuna is a community-focused organization located in the Abando and Indautxu districts of Bilbao. Founded by local residents, the association aims to promote and protect citizens' rights, particularly in light of ongoing urban developments and the challenges posed by disruptive behaviors that affect neighborhood harmony.

The organization advocates for residents' interests by filing complaints regarding local disturbances, such as noise from nightlife activities, and seeks accountability from municipal authorities. They provide essential resources for residents to report issues, including a guide on how to make formal complaints.

Additionally, Uribitarte Anaitasuna actively keeps the community informed about municipal works affecting their area, ensuring transparency in local governance. The association also utilizes social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to engage with residents, share updates, and foster a sense of community. Through these efforts, Uribitarte Anaitasuna embodies a proactive approach to enhancing the quality of life in their district.
