Abbey's Web is a dedicated online resource celebrating the works and legacy of renowned author Edward Abbey, curated by Christer Lindh from Stockholm, Sweden. This vibrant platform emerged from Lindh's transformative experiences with Abbey's writing, which ignited his passion for the great outdoors during his time in Nevada. Abbey's Web offers a rich collection of information about Abbey's notable books, including "Desert Solitaire" and "The Monkey Wrench Gang," alongside personal reviews, essays, and travelogues that delve into the relationship between nature and literature.

The site encourages reader participation, inviting visitors to submit corrections, personal reviews, scanned images, and links to related resources. This collaborative aspect enriches the community's engagement with Abbey’s themes, particularly environmentalism and wilderness appreciation. Abbey's Web, also mirrored on EnviroLink, is not just a tribute to Abbey's life and work; it serves as a growing archive that fosters discussion and exploration of ecological literature, making it a valuable destination for fans and newcomers alike.
