The practice helps children and adults improve or regain communication, voice, and swallowing abilities through individualized assessment and therapy. Treatment begins with a detailed diagnostic evaluation and is based on a medical referral; appointments typically last 60 minutes for an initial visit and 45 minutes thereafter, once or twice weekly. The practice addresses speech and language development, pronunciation, fluency, voice disorders, central language and speech disorders, swallowing difficulties, facial paralysis, and rehabilitation following laryngectomy.

It also supports children with developmental delays, hearing and auditory-processing difficulties, and reading or writing challenges. Therapeutic approaches include speech-development and phonological therapies, stuttering treatment, voice training, oral-motor and feeding therapy, and support using German Sign Language. Beyond clinical care, abc-Logopädie offers parent consultations, school-readiness and language assessments, guidance on literacy difficulties, seminars and presentations for schools and childcare settings, and voice training for professional voice users.
