A ABCEM tem como objetivos: a promoção e o desenvolvimento do mercado da construção metálica no Brasil; a realização de estudos e pesquisas sobre a produção, o mercado e suprimentos do setor; a defesa dos interesses dos seus sócios. Mantém relacionamento permanente com a ABNT, o Núcleo Inox, o IBS, a AARS, o CDMEC, sendo filiada ao IZA - International Zinc Association. A Associação Brasileira da Construção Metálica congrega empresas, institutos, entidades de classes regionais, setoriais e pessoas físicas que se dedicam à construção metálica. A ABCEM realiza cursos para o desenvolvimento dos profissionais da construção metálica no Brasil. Arquitetos, engenheiros, projetistas, calculistas, estudantes de engenharia, estudantes de arquitetura e outros profissionais da área: participem e ampliem seus conhecimentos!
