About ABC OF METRO CHICAGO
ABC of Metro Chicago is a metropolitan association comprising diverse American Baptist congregations and ministries. Guided by the principles of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, their mission is to spread the Gospel, bear testimony, and act as agents of God's reign in the world – all while cherishing the concept of the beloved community. The organization is committed to deepening their understanding of God's grace as revealed through Jesus Christ, nurturing their minds and spirits to fulfill their calling, fostering mutual relationships within their faith community, and giving generously and sacrificially.
They are unwaveringly dedicated to ministries of compassion, justice, and peace. With 62 churches in three states and a rich variety of languages and worship styles, ABC of Metro Chicago brings together pastors, specialized ministers, and lay people in pursuit of their faith.
