Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo Grupo ABD is a nonprofit organisation with more than 40 years of experience addressing social and health inequalities. Working through a broad network of services and programmes, ABD supports people experiencing vulnerability and social exclusion, with a rights-based approach focused on dignity, inclusion and equal opportunity. Its work spans substance use and related health needs, mental health, childhood and family support, gender equality, ageing and dependency, intellectual disability, poverty, migration and housing insecurity, as well as action on climate change.

ABD develops more than 100 programmes, including its own initiatives and publicly commissioned services. These include social care and accompaniment, training courses and workshops, a volunteer training school, and community projects that combine social support, participation and employment inclusion. Examples include Fènix, which links urban agroecology with social and labour inclusion for people receiving treatment for substance dependence; Energia Justa, addressing energy poverty through volunteering; and Comunidad Activa, supporting inclusion through employment pathways and community participation.
