About ABE
Associação de Beneficência Evangélica – Lar Cristão is a Portuguese Private Institution of Social Solidarity serving older people and the wider community from its base in São Sebastião de Guerreiros, Loures. Founded in 1927, the association describes its work with the motto “We know how to care” and aims to stay connected with residents’ families and the community around it. Its services include Lar Cristão, a residential home for older people, and a home support service.
