Abercorn Funeral Services

Abercorn Funeral Services is an independent funeral director serving families across Edinburgh and the Lothians. The team provides compassionate, professional support, helping families make informed choices and arranging each farewell with dignity, respect and care. Its services include bespoke funerals, Purely and Classic packages, direct funerals and funerals for children, which are offered free for those up to 18 years old. Families can personalise tributes to reflect an individual life, and the company also provides memorials, practical advice and information about cemeteries and crematoriums.

Abercorn offers direct cremation for £1,395, with a fixed price covering the funeral arrangements and no hidden fees. The service includes careful preparation of the deceased, a quality Glenshee Veneer Coffin, a private transfer into the company’s care, direct communication with its team and clear, unhurried guidance. Families may also pay their last respects if they wish. With experienced staff and funeral homes available to contact, Abercorn aims to ease the burden of planning while honouring each loved one and supporting those who are grieving.
