About American Boer Goat Association
The American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) is the leading authority on Boer goats in the United States. With a Board of Directors consisting of 15 dedicated volunteers, ABGA serves as the governing body for the association. The board members work tirelessly to represent ABGA members across 14 regions, ensuring the success and growth of the American Boer Goat industry.
ABGA provides a wide range of services to its members, including financial management, youth programs, industry development, performance programs, marketing, education, and strategic planning. They also collaborate with members via committees and the JABGA Board of Directors to achieve the association's goals. ABGA is currently accepting nominations for the Board of Directors from eligible members residing in specific regions.
Applicants must be ABGA members in good standing and exhibit a passion for the Boer goat industry. As the main governing body for ABGA, the board plays a fundamental role in shaping the future of the association and the industry as a whole.
