ABI New England, the Applied Behavior Institute, provides compassionate, personalized applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder or Down syndrome. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of the people it serves by supporting practical skills, independence, and personal self-sufficiency. Programs are evidence-based and individualized in collaboration with families, with goals shaped around each learner’s needs, development, age, and cultural background. Every case is overseen by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
ABI offers services in clients’ homes, community settings, and centers, as well as consultation and program development for schools and districts. Center-based care combines structured instruction with teaching in natural environments to help learners use skills in everyday life. The organization also offers a Ready for School program, including morning sessions at all locations. ABI has centers in Allston, Bedford, Franklin, Lowell, Methuen, and Worcester, serving communities across Massachusetts and parts of New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
