About Abit Gear
Abit Gear is a brand that aims to solve the struggle many mountain bike enthusiasts face when it comes to finding shorts that fit perfectly. The founder, Justin Vander Pol, himself faced this issue as a lean guy with a bigger butt, where shorts were always too tight through the seat. Recognizing that there are many others in the biking community with similar body types, he created Abit Gear to address this frustration.
What sets Abit Gear apart is their commitment to offering shorts in two different fits, as well as two different lengths. They understand that one size does not fit all and that every body is unique. Their driving principles include a great fit, durability, and simple designs.
Justin Vander Pol, the founder and owner of Abit Gear, has been involved in the mountain bike community for over 20 years. He has played a crucial role in trail building, fighting for trail access, and supporting nonprofits like Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. With the success of Abit Gear, Justin aims to continue supporting organizations that advocate for trail development and the preservation of open spaces
