ABNC, the Association of Calabrian Nutrition Biologists, brings together nutrition biologists across Calabria to encourage collaboration, professional development, and public awareness of nutrition and healthy living. Founded through cooperation among nutrition professionals, the association supports opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience, strengthening the cultural and professional growth of its members. Its activities include training courses, conferences, events, and meetings for members, as well as initiatives developed with local institutions, research bodies, Calabrian universities, and the professional order of biologists.
ABNC also works to promote Calabria and its local food products, connecting regional food traditions with balanced lifestyles and the prevention of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Its public outreach includes educational initiatives, such as a campaign addressing common diet and nutrition misinformation, and participation in community projects focused on health, food, and territory. The association invites biologists to join its network and take part in its activities.
Through professional exchange and local partnerships, ABNC aims to improve understanding of nutrition and contribute to quality of life in Calabria
