Abominable Snow Race (ASR) is a winter obstacle-racing event hosted by ASR Events, LLC, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Designed to bring together families, first-time racers, outdoor enthusiasts, and experienced athletes, ASR combines fitness, adventure, and fun on snowy trails. Its event offers four course experiences: a 5K expedition with more than 15 winter-themed obstacles; an adventure course covering over six miles with more than 25 obstacles; a two-lap challenge featuring additional medals; and a competitive 10K heat with cash prizes and age-group awards.
Obstacles include climbing walls, cargo nets, monkey bars, rope climbs, balance challenges, and weighted-bag lifts. The event welcomes a wide range of ages and abilities, with children aged 10–14 able to join the adult course with a parent or guardian. Participants can register individually or explore group packages for teams of five or more.
ASR also shares obstacle information, training blogs, event FAQs, and hotel details to help visitors prepare. The next listed event is scheduled for January 30, 2027
