About ABPN
ABPN, or the Brazilian Association of Black Researchers, is a crucial organization in the network of institutions combating racism, prejudice, and racial discrimination. Their focus is on formulating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating public policies to achieve a fair and equitable society. ABPN operates in three main areas: academic dissemination, social articulation, and leadership development.
As a nonprofit association, ABPN is dedicated to academic-scientific teaching, research, and extension on topics of interest to the black population in Brazil.
